legal rights and how they can benefit from them by initiating meetings
and using different communication tools.

Educating women to act in the
developing process. This was accomplished in the project: fighting
violence against women which was carried out for whole year; June, 2002
– June, 2003. In this, project many meetings and work shops were held in
5 governorates for people involved in the judiciary and security field
in addition to government and non-government organizations.

YWU Participation in the awareness
campaigns for the vaccination of infants and children against deadly
diseases.

Educating local societies about the
importance of girls education in several governorates in order to create
equal opportunities for both genders.

Educating women about the importance
of their participation in the parliament and presidential elections.

importance of women political participation as voters and nominators in
the elections as a democratic right.
