Coordination with the ministry of
planning and the ministry of social affairs to execute development
projects for women in strengthening the establishment structure of the
YWU branches in Taiz, Alhoddidah, Ibb, Thamar. This was carried out
through the third development program (funded by the American Agency for
International development) and the Dutch support project.

Executing training programs in loans
for several beneficiaries from the Third Development Program that
benefits women in targeted areas. This project was among the first
projects that embraced small projects for income generating.

Establishing specialized units for
productive families coordinated with the National Program for Productive
Families which was carries out in 10 in YWU branches.

Establishing several kindergarten in
some of YWU branches in coordination with the Dutch embassy in Yemen and
several organization. These Kindergartens is for working women, in the
YWU branches and surrounded areas.

Establishing project in Hoddida
governorates for 5000 women offering them loans with low interests to
start small productive projects. Because of the success of this project
it planned to be carried out in other governorates like: Ibb, Haddramout,
Almhrah, Marib, and Thamar in coordination with the Social Fund and the
International Bank.

Establishing unites for house
economics and management and units for computers in coordination with
the Dutch embassy in Yemen. YWU also carried out many other projects
like traditional handicrafts and other projects in traditional fashions
and popular tradition in many of YWU’s branches.

Establishing Permanent and temporary
exhibitions for the products of the YWU branches workshops.
